Young investigators award

I3SAW invites young researchers to submit abstracts focusing on novel research that contributes to the scientific field of Sports, Physical Education, Physical Exercise, Physical Activity or Human Movement.

The prize winner

The young researcher who submits the winning abstract will be invited to present his/her research and results as an oral presentation at the 3rd International Congress of I3SAW in the University of El Jedida (Morocco) on April 16th – 18th 2019. The abstract will also be published in an edited volume with ISBN. Authors will be invited to extend their papers for publication. Furthermore, they will receive a two years I3SAW membership and other small presents at the Gala Dinner during the congress.

Award selection

Deadline: 5th February 2019 Abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee, consisting of international experts in the field of sport sciences, who will elect the best abstract based on international scientific standards, and its contribution to the field of sport sciences and physical activity. During the congress authors will have to present their work during a five minutes oral presentation in front of the Scientific Committee. After selection of the abstracts and the oral presentation, the jury will make a classification of the candidates based on the quality of their work. The first three authors on that list will receive an I3SAW award.

Who can apply?

Abstract submission is restricted to young researchers (Master, PhD students and post-doctoral researchers) who do not hold a permanent position in the industry, an academic institution, or a non-governmental organization.

Abstract requirements

We invite the authors to consult the submission guidelines (Oral presentation or Poster with Mini-Oral and Abstract Format).
